Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF editor free?
Yes, completely free with no watermark and no sign-up.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so your document stays on your device.
Why does edited text use a standard font?
Fonts inside PDFs are often embedded and can’t be reused. Edited text is written with Helvetica, Times or Courier in the size you choose, and the original line is covered with the page color.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are pictures, so there is no text to click. You can still use “Add text” and the page tools.
Can I type any language?
Edited text supports Latin characters (English, Spanish, French, German and similar). Other characters are replaced with “?”.
